although only when opals are moved they reveal all their colours.  
See these images as stills in a film, and be surprised when holding them in your own hand.  

On a 600x800 screen size appears nearly double. Opals demand a good picture quality, so please be patient while loading.
Don't be surprised, when you see comparable stones for up to 10 times more in opal shops. As a cutter I don't have the overhead costs and can offer you a real bargain.
